Personal Project: Monolithic Slab

We were planning our future with this project. Our latest personal project involved laying a massive monolithic slab that will eventually house our dump truck, mixer truck, and work vehicles.
This slab is built to last – 5 inches thick, 1 1/2 foot thickness on the edges, reinforced with rebar every 2 feet for optimal strength and stability. We used a solid base of road base before pouring our signature 4000 PSI concrete mix. We wanted to build a sturdy, level surface that can withstand the weight of heavy-duty vehicles while maintaining structural integrity over time.
Rebar every 2 feet, while not necessary for most projects like regular driveways it was definitely necessary for this pad. This pad will not only be supporting a building it will also support heavy duty vehicles and countless tools and attachments.
For your own project, should you deem it necessary you can always ask for rebar at your desired distance or concrete at your specifications (thickness, mix, color). We’ll work with you to make sure your needs and wants are met.
