Driveway + Conduits and Sprinklers 2025

This project was a straightforward driveway replacement on the surface, but it came with some unique challenges that required careful planning.
Sprinkler Relocation
Since the new driveway was being extended about three feet wider on each side, we had to remove and relocate five sprinkler heads. Each was carefully repositioned and adjusted so that the sprinkler system could continue working properly after the concrete was in place.
Planning for the Future
To give the homeowners flexibility for future upgrades, we installed a PVC conduit running underneath the entire driveway. This conduit allows for the addition of water lines, electrical wiring, or other utilities without ever needing to cut into the concrete.
Structural Strength & Finish
The driveway itself was built to our high standards:
5-inch thickness
4,000 PSI concrete mix
Rebar reinforcement every 3 feet
Dowels connected into the garage foundation for structural continuity
Light broom finish for a clean look and slip resistance
Results
The final product was strong, functional, and visually appealing. The client was very happy with the results, and this driveway is built to last for years to come.
