Custom Big Walkway 2025

This project was a year in the making. From the original estimate to the final pour, it was a job that required patience, planning, and collaboration every step of the way. The design was highly customized, with many figurative (and literal) twists and turns, and the results made it one of our most memorable projects of 2025 so far.

The clients were flexible and full of creative ideas. We worked closely with them to bring those ideas to life—leveling sewer caps, adding color, and ensuring every walkway flowed naturally with the open garden spaces in between. The mix used was a 4000 PSI concrete reinforced with rebar every three feet, combining strength with beauty. For color, we used Baja Red from Davis Colors, giving the walkways a warm, striking tone that stood out without sacrificing durability.

This project also required extensive digging, leveling, and detailed formwork to make sure every curve and transition was seamless. One of the standout features was the large entrance area, which demanded precision to achieve both functionality and aesthetics.

In the end, the results spoke for themselves: a sturdy, long-lasting, and beautiful installation that the clients loved—and one that we’re proud to count among our favorite jobs this year.
